YOUR LIFE, COUNTED LIVE

Calculator inputs and results

Enter your birth date and optional birth time to watch exact elapsed time update live. Heartbeats, breaths, sleep and similar biological totals are shown separately as adjustable estimates.

Optional ยท local time

These rates affect estimated counters only. They do not change exact elapsed time.

Your date stays in this browser. Biological counters are estimates, not measurements or medical results.

How to use this calculator

1Step 1Enter your birth date. Add a known birth time for more precise elapsed hours, minutes and seconds.
2Step 2Open the estimate settings if you want to change the heart, breathing, blink or sleep assumptions.
3Step 3Start the counters and compare exact live time with clearly labeled estimates.

What the result includes

  • Full-number live seconds, minutes, hours and days
  • Calendar age in completed years, months and days
  • Optional birth-time precision
  • Adjustable biological estimates
  • Average lunar-cycle and Earth-orbit conversions
  • Method displayed beside every result

What is exact and what is estimated

Exact elapsed outputs use the difference between the entered local birth timestamp and the current device timestamp. If birth time is unknown, the calculator uses midnight and says so in the result. Calendar age is calculated separately because completed years and months follow calendar boundaries rather than a fixed number of seconds.

Biological outputs are estimates. The calculator multiplies elapsed minutes or waking minutes by the selected rate. It cannot reconstruct how heart rate, breathing, sleep or blinking changed throughout a lifetime. The default values are starting assumptions, not personal facts or medical measurements.

Astronomical conversions divide elapsed time by published average periods. They are useful comparisons, but a mean lunar cycle is not the same as counting every full moon that was visible from one location.

Example estimates using the defaults

Elapsed timeHeartbeats at 72/minBreaths at 15/minMean lunar cycles

25 yearsabout 947 millionabout 197 millionabout 309

Method and sources

Sources support the ranges and constants, not the personal estimate. Accessed August 8, 2026. Change the settings to see how strongly a different assumption affects each total.

For dated milestones such as 10,000 days or one billion seconds, use the Age Milestone Calculator. For a calendar report with the next birthday and age on another date, use the main Age Calculator.

Frequently asked questions

Which life statistics are exact?
Elapsed seconds, minutes and hours come from the interval between the entered local birth time and the current device time. Calendar age is calculated separately in completed years, months and days.
How does the calculator estimate heartbeats?
It multiplies elapsed minutes by the heart-rate assumption you select. The default is 72 beats per minute, but the result is an estimate rather than a measurement.
Why do the numbers update live?
The current timestamp is recalculated several times per second. Displayed whole-number counters update whenever their value changes.
Does birth time matter?
Yes. A known birth time makes elapsed hours, minutes and seconds more precise. If it is blank, the calculator uses 12:00 AM in this device's local time zone.
Are these medical results?
No. Biological totals are illustrative estimates based on adjustable average rates. They are not measurements or health assessments.
How are lunar cycles calculated?
Elapsed days are divided by 29.53059, the mean length of a synodic month. This is an average conversion, not a location-specific observation record.
